- Focus Session Logs: Custom session tags (e.g., Deep Work, Learning, Writing, Reading, Coding), session durations, and completed focus milestones.
- Distraction Metrics: Information you manually log regarding interruptions (e.g., mind-wandering, work emails, phone calls, social media).
- Aesthetic Preferences: Your selected visual themes (e.g., Forest Green, Terracotta Clay, Warm Sand).
📌 Note: This productivity data remains strictly on your Android device and is not synchronized to external servers by us unless you explicitly choose to back up your device data via your personal Google Account cloud backup.
C. Device Permissions
To deliver a polished and seamless user experience, the Application may request the following permissions on your Android device:

android.permission.VIBRATE): Required to provide precise, battery-friendly tactile vibration pulses to signal transitions gracefully between work sessions and breaks. - Notification Permissions: Required to deliver acoustic notifications and status bar alerts when your timer completes.
2. How We Use Your Information
Because your data is stored locally, its primary use is to power the application on your device. Specifically, we use the processed data to:
- Operate and maintain the Organic Focus Engine and custom timer intervals.
- Generate interactive graphs, chronological session records, and historical activity heatmaps to help you audit your task allocations.
- Track and celebrate your rolling day-to-day focus streaks and productivity landmarks.
- Provide custom theme options to reduce digital strain and screen fatigue.
3. Disclosure of Your Information
We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise share your data with third parties.

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect and defend our rights or property, or protect the personal safety of users.

The security of your data is important to us. Focus Timer leverages native Android security frameworks to protect your locally stored productivity logs and settings. However, please remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Our Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so that we can take the necessary actions.
